www.heartofworship.com

Have you ever found that the internet has a way of leaving you feeling drained after drowning in the wealth of information available on every conceivable subject? This site is different! Launched by the Soul Survivor team, it encourages us to 'reflect, rethink and respond' as we consider our approach to worship. The site is clearly laid out making it easy to navigate. So far, it has been regularly updated and features numerous articles, tutorials and bible studies from pastors, musicians and worship leaders - you are even able to download a new song once a month. We would recommend this site as a useful resources for worship leaders and teams as part of being equipped to lead God's people in worship as well as spurring us on in everyday devotional life.

www.worshiptogether.com

This 'worship resource for a new generation' features numerous current and archived articles, insights for worship leaders, a 'New Song Cafe', free sheet music and details of worship conferences (by the way, the next one is 5th-7th November in Eastbourne - how about taking your worship team away for a weekend by the sea?). This website is quite commercial in feel and a selective approach is required with regard to some of the articles posted. However, there are some great articles from worship leaders like Graham Kendrick and Darlene Zschech from whom we can learn a great deal!

Linked with this site is www.worshipexperience.com which previews new worship CDs enabling you to listen to 30 second clips of songs (although the sound quality is poor, it gives you an idea of the musical style of a CD before you spend your hard earned cash!)

www.cyberhymnal.org

This site has over 3,300 Christian hymns and Gospel songs from many denominations. You'll find lyrics, scores, MIDI files, pictures, history, and more. This is a good resource for widening the hymn repertiore of our worship. You'll have to ignore the dodgy sounding MIDI keyboard but at least you'll end up with the right tune!

www.psalmdrummers.com

The Psalm Drummers were started in 1996 by Terl Bryant (of Iona and other various ensemble fame). There are now 2,000 members in the network with over 30 groups meeting all over the world. The site has details of such groups plus excellent articles on drumming, details of Psalm Drummers events, practical training and links to instrumental and equipment retailers.
